Islamic teacher infects 13 pupils with HIV/AIDS

(Wikimedia)An Islamic cleric who is a carrier of HIV/AIDS disease has been arrested for allegedly infecting more than 13 pupils of the Tappare-Ganye Community Islamic Centre, Adamawa State, with the ailment. The deathly teacher, Alhassan Adamu, who teaches in the same school, has been arrested by the police and is currently being interrogated at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), where investigations into the matter are ongoing. The suspect who was said to have tested positive to the disease over 10 years ago, started sexually assaulting of his victims about eight years ago, not minding the fact that he was carrying the disease. But the truth came to the fore when one of his victims who is scheduled to get married on March 13, 2015, started manifesting illness that was later discovered to be HIV/AIDS. The would-be husband had demanded health screening before the wedding and the test proved to be positive. This led to the discovery of the randy teacher’s dirty game and he was arrested promptly. He then confessed to the police that he had slept with over 13 pupils and they could all be infected with the disease. |
